How do you structure 'Tell me about yourself' (TMAY) in a 90-second format for IB?

The classic three-act structure:

• Academic (15–20 sec): 'I'm studying [program] at [university], with a focus on [finance/accounting]. My GPA is [X].' Plus one concrete highlight: a relevant course, an award, a bachelor's/master's thesis.
• Practical experience (30–40 sec): your most recent/most important internship or project. STAR format, light: 'At [firm] I worked on [project type] — e.g. a [DCF/comps/M&A model] for a $200m mid-market target. I did [specific task] and achieved [result].'
• Why IB / why now (15–20 sec): 'These experiences cemented my interest in [sector/asset class]. IB offers the intensive training and deal exposure I want for my career trajectory.'
• Bridge to an expected question (5 sec): 'I'm looking forward to talking more about [specific topic] — it really caught my attention.'
