How do you structure a strong 5-year-plan answer?

Use three layers: near term, become a reliable analyst with strong technical and execution skills; medium term, take more ownership and mentor juniors; longer term, develop sector / product judgment and client-facing ability. Keep it bank-centered. You can say you are open-minded, but your plan should be to grow in the role.
