Describe it as a progression from execution to ownership to client leadership. Analysts build technical skill and reliability. Associates manage workstreams and juniors. VPs lead execution and client communication. MDs originate business and advise senior clients. In five years, a realistic goal is strong associate-level ownership, not claiming MD-level ambitions immediately.
