Show flexibility without sounding desperate. Say your primary interest is transaction-oriented corporate finance and that DCM is attractive because it builds capital-structure, credit, and market execution skills. If true, say you would be excited by the role and would bring the same commitment, while still being transparent about your long-term M&A interest.
