  • Someone asks for confidential client information.
  • A banker pressures you to use unrealistic assumptions.
  1. Clarify facts.
  2. Do not hide or falsify.
  3. Escalate appropriately if needed.
  4. Protect the client, bank, and team.

'If I found a material error, I would immediately tell the analyst / associate, quantify the impact, and help correct it. I would not hide it because reputational and client risk is much worse than the discomfort of admitting a mistake.'
